Merton Montessori
Merton Montessori Nursery, established in 1964, is an independent Nursery and Kindergarten School for children between the ages of 6 months – 6 years old.
For almost 6 decades, we’ve delivered quality education in Ghana and provided thousands of individuals with a solid foundation to become life-long learners and well-adapted adults.
At Merton, we recognize that young children have limitless potential to learn and develop key skills. We aim to give these children a happy and crucial head start in their education and to lay the emotional, physical and mental foundation for future academic work.

The School Curriculum
Using a blend of the best parts of the Montessori method of education and more traditional methods of teaching, we help children to become curious learners. Our Team
We are led by Mrs. Elizabeth Baitie – a UK-trained, pioneer of Montessori Education in Ghana with over 30 years of teaching and administration.
The school has an extensive team of over 20 qualified teachers in the Nursery and Kindergarten. Our staff body comprises of Graduate Teachers, trained certificate “A” teachers and teachers who have undergone training in the Montessori Method. Our teachers have been chosen for their dedication and experience with preschoolers.
